These French Ribbons Leather Journals are each bound with a letterpress printed leather cover. They're printed using our French Ribbons design, a hand-carved woodblock made of cherry wood.
The French Ribbons design is based on historical book endpapers from the late 18th Century. We then carved our own version, and print it on our 1910 proofing press for these books.
